The forty-third annual Golden Joystick Awards took place this past week, and with a remarkable performance, Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 claimed the title of the biggest winner. This breakout role-playing game by Sandfall Interactive earned the esteemed Ultimate Game of the Year award, along with accolades for Outstanding Narrative and Excellence in Visuals.
Complementing the developer's success, its talented performers also received personal awards. Jennifer English was named Top Lead Actor for her performance as Maelle, while Ben Starr took home Best Supporting Performer for his work as Verso. Moreover, Sandfall Interactive the studio was honored as Top Studio. Overall, Clair Obscur and its developers won 7 awards throughout the show.
